Title: Lillias Davidson 1858 Scottish Reproduction Sampler

Stitch count: 140 x 201

Details: Lillias Davidson was born to James Davidson and Lillias Sinclair on Oct. 24, 1841 in Perth, Scotland. An early Scottish census identifies her as a “scholar” living at “Ocklockie” with her parents and siblings. She has chosen to honor her parents, JD and LS, along with both sets of grandparents and her siblings. Those stitched with black thread would be deceased. Lillias stitched her sampler with wool threads, as is this reproduction. This is your chance to stitch with the wonderful Gentle Arts wool threads which are a joy to work with. The model is stitched on 30 count linen and uses cross stitch over one and two threads and algerian eye stitch. The stitch count is 140 x 201 and a DMC conversion is included. This is for the chart pack only, not the finished sampler.
